Reading room

The CSLS has a reading room with eight places, allowing users to concentrate on their work in a well-equipped area with a quiet atmosphere.

Ordering Books for the reading room

Would you like to study items in the reading room? Our catalogue can be used to find both items from the CSLS’s collective holdings which are not available for loan as well as items from member libraries’ holdings which can be borrowed. Should you wish to order an item for the reading room, please contact the member library stated in the catalogue at least 24 hours before you plan to use the reading room. The library will then send the requested order to us.

Reading room reservations

Please reserve a place in advance. They can be reserved for half a day or a whole day. Should you require a librarian’s assistance (e.g. help with research), please make a note of this in your reservation.
